Your Instructor
James Ranney is a digital nomad working in education, writing, and photojournalism. Some people say he creates travelogues, painting pictures with photos and articles describing people, places, and things in this big wonderful world.
Careers as a commercial fisherman and then professional firefighter have given James a wealth of ideas and stories to draw from. This combined with a traveler's eye make for interesting perspectives for his stories.
James lives in Denver, Colorado, but moves between two home bases depending on the season. In the Spring he goes to home bases in Mexico or Ecuador, depending on the opportunities for work. In the Fall always Spain and he works regionally from there.

Yes, there is a private Facebook group called " Teach English...Your Nomadic Business". The group is only open to current students and alumni of the course. The purpose of the group is to be a place where everyone can help one another. Students will be able to share their experience of how they're applying what they're learning in the course and also the results they're getting. If someone gets stuck along the way, then they can reach out for help. I will also be active in the group to provide guidance and feedback. Since the online English teaching field is always changing the group will allow everyone to stay up to date with current developments.
